Almost every aspect of our careers in medicine has some sort of legal consideration. Oftentimes, we make assumptions or function from a place of fear because of inadequate legal information. Practice from a place of knowledge and empowerment by better understanding the following legal considerations in medicine:

• Relationships with employer and/or practice (contract negotiation, long-term disability, noncompete clauses, planning an exit strategy)
• Opportunities and limitations in joint ventures with private equity
• State Medical Board Investigations

The session is presented by John Carney, former state representative and attorney with Porter Wright. He has decades of experience advocating for physicians.
