Performance Evaluation Overview

When: Wednesday, March 4, 2025, 8:30 am-11:00 am

Where: CMA Offices 1390 Dublin Rd. Columbus, OH 43215

Managing staff performance is one of the most challenging and most impactful parts of being a practice manager. This engaging session is designed to help practice managers turn performance reviews into effective tools for improving accountability, strengthening communication, and supporting a high-functioning clinical team. Participants will gain practical strategies for conducting clear, confident performance conversations, addressing performance issues early, and setting consistent expectations that support both staff success and practice operations.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this session, practice managers will be able to:

  • Identify performance review formats, timing, and processes that work best in a busy medical practice environment.

  • Prepare for and conduct productive, respectful performance conversations with clinical and administrative staff.

  • Apply consistent accountability strategies to address performance issues while maintaining morale and professionalism.
